STIGA is pleased to be able to announce that we are joining as title sponsor and ball sponsor for the Swedish top league Table Tennis League, which is also changing its name to "Pingisligan by STIGA". The agreement includes the top league for both women and men. STIGA also becomes the exclusive ball sponsor for both leagues.
STIGA's CEO comments on the extended collaboration - We are very happy and proud to have deepened our long and successful collaboration with the Swedish Table Tennis Association. Our primary goal with this collaboration is for Swedish table tennis to continue to grow and for the sport to become more accessible to children and young people in particular, says Andreas Zandrén, CEO of STIGA Sports AB.
The agreement is written for three years and will mean that the Swedish Table Tennis Association can invest even more in making its top league more accessible via its own website, social media but above all through webcasts from all league matches.
The head of the federation thinks about the future - the ping pong league is our highest series and thus an important external showcase for Swedish table tennis. It therefore feels both fun and very exciting to be able to develop the league further together with our long-standing partner STIGA while also deepening our collaboration. The agreement will mean that the availability of the table tennis league will increase, which will hopefully also give us increased media space and strengthen the clubs' position. As the newly appointed head of the association, I also have high hopes of being able to further develop the collaboration with STIGA in several areas, says a satisfied Thomas Buza taking office as head of the association (September 1).
