With STIGA Custom Weight Technology, you can adapt the weight and balance of your bat with 3-, 6-, and 9-gram weights that easily attach to a magnet in the bottom of the grip.

This lets you influence the mass of the blade, and combined with the blade size and power in your shots, this creates kinetic energy. This means that the heavier the bat, the more power and kinetic energy that will be generated at a given speed. It’s a feature that offers players the chance to adapt blade characteristics depending on individual preferences and external conditions. A variety of factors influence whether play in a certain location feels fast or slow. For example, choose the 9-gram weight when playing in a large arena; these locations tend to be experienced as slow. Use the 3-gram weight when playing in a small practice hall or other environment that feels faster. STIGA CWT allows you to fine-tune your bat to your playing location as soon as you start warming up.

Adjust the balance point to your playing needs

Depending on the placement of a blade’s centre of gravity (CoG), the blade will be considered to have a high CoG, a low CoG, or to be neutrally balanced.  A CoG on the upper blade edge is a blade with a high centre of gravity; a CoG at the lower edge means the blade has a low centre of gravity. Playing style, previous experience, and weight of the rubbers mean that preferences vary greatly from player to player. In addition, weights vary from rubber to rubber, so it’s possible to adapt the blade weight with magnetic weights – thus allowing you to adjust and find the perfect balance.  

• A lower total weight is suitable for players who stay close to the table and prefer faster play.
