August 2024
STIGA Sports has signed a three-year partnership agreement with Lidingö Tennisklubb, where STIGA Sports will be the club's official racket partner. The cooperation is an important step in STIGA Sports' ambition to support and develop Swedish tennis at all levels.
As part of the agreement, STIGA Sports will have its own section in Lidingö Tennis Club's racket shop, where members will be given the opportunity to test play and take part in the entire range of STIGA rackets. In addition, the club's coaches will gradually be introduced to and encouraged to use optional STIGA models, further strengthening the bond between STIGA Sports and Lidingö Tennis Club.
The collaboration also means that STIGA will be visible through advertising spaces in the tennis hall and on the club's website. At competitions and events organized by Lidingö Tennisklubb, STIGA Sports is offered the opportunity to have its stand and staff on site, thereby being able to interact with the club's members and visitors.
Fredrik Mellin, Partner Manager at Lidingö Tennisklubb, comments:
“We at Lidingö Tennisklubb are thrilled and proud to partner with STIGA Sports. They will become the club's official racket partner, which perfectly aligns with our mission to explore new ways of advancing Swedish tennis. We look forward to a long and successful partnership.”
Mattias Westerberg, Commercial Director, at STIGA Sports, said:
"At STIGA Sports, we are extremely proud of this partnership and look forward to playing an active role in the continued development of Lidingö Tennis Club's operations in the coming year.’”
Lidingö Tennisklubb, founded in 1927, is one of Sweden's largest and most prominent tennis clubs, with around 3,000 members and a wide range of activities for all ages and levels. The club offers, among other things, children's and youth training, adult courses, para-tennis courses, and an elite team that recently won the Swedish Championships silver medal two years in a row.
